Energy Recruiters has partnered with a diversified regional petroleum distributor and convenience retailer to support their search for an Operations Manager to support their commercial wholesale and retail divisions. This role is responsible for the overall performance of the wholesale division as well as storage/distribution assets, leading managers to ensure financial success, and maintaining high levels of service and safety. This position will also have a role in leading sales growth and expanding market opportunities.

Responsibilities
Oversee the operations of the bulk plant branches.
Directly manage, guide and develop all Bulk Plant Managers
Act as functional liaison for operational activities between sales and all operational support departments.
Monitor inventory/price risk exposure across all Bulk Plant locations and advise location managers on contract positions.
Work with managers to grow the region through the development and implementation of effective customer relations and innovative marketing strategies in all services and products.
Utilizes frequent interface with customers to understand their needs in an effort to ensure customer satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
Leads safety and worker's compensation cost reduction initiatives for assigned region focusing on safety as a primary concern and ensuring safe working practices in all areas of operations.
Partners with finance to develop the annual budget, manages financial performance and provides input for long-range financial planning to assure that the necessary resources are available to achieve sales and operational objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
5 years managing people and petroleum distribution operations required.
Attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
Initiative and ability to work in a self-directed manner.
Ability to multi-task; able to effectively handle multiple priorities and responsibilities.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Valid Driver’s License and excellent driving record required.
