Energy Recruiters has partnered with a leading petroleum marketer to support their search for a Logistics Manager. The position is responsible for developing and managing the standardized operating practices for service center operations.
$70,000 to $80,000
Directs and coordinates activities of delivered fuels dispatchers and service dispatching to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel.
Develop, engage and lead a high-performance, results-driven operations team focused on customer service.
Manage delivered fuels route dispatching process and daily driver routes / deliveries
Manage service center service work order scheduling and service dispatching process
Schedule resources to exceed customer service standards and resolve all customer facing issues in a timely manner.
Develop and manage standardized service center processes and business practices for delivery operations and service work.
Manage the compliance programs for protection, tank inspections and gas checks
Manage and optimize the utilization of software systems for dispatch, service and routing
Support annual operating plan development
Support maintaining driver and service associates required certifications and training
Maintain inventory of LP tanks and related equipment and requisition of parts and instruments
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years’ business and petroleum operations management experience required
Delivery and customer service experience required
Requires experience managing teams of at least 5 people and associated budgets
Highly proficient knowledge of Microsoft office suite with strong excel and database skills
Strong leadership skills, team player, quality and service focus, problem solving
Understanding of software systems, and the ability to work effectively across organizational lines to achieve results.
