Energy Recruiters has been engaged to support a leading national energy marketer in their search for a Customer Support Manager.  In this role, you will foster close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the sales organization’s efficient operation and success.   The role has high visibility in the organization.

Supervise a Team of Customer Support Supervisors and Analysts.

Recruit, interview, and select new employees for the Customer Support group; mentor and evaluate individual performance.

Utilize PDI as a centralized fuel pricing and quoting system, leveraging the supply and pricing process in an efficient and consistent manner across the entire organization.

Supply related operations including supply contract set ups and management, carrier clearance, TABS, and supply allocations.

Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for Marine, Industrial, Government, Retail, and Wholesale customers.

Reviews various customer issues and problems, to include coordinating problem resolution with appropriate departments.

Responsible for improving overall customer satisfaction with ordering of products, equipment, and services.

Prepares policies and procedures for customer service area; interprets and clarifies policies and procedures for Customer Service Representatives and customers.

Isolate and identify processes that need improvement.

Creates both standard and custom reports requested by operations, sales, and management.

Set up all customer quote profiles and customer account maintenance in PDI.

Performs all fuel cost and supply analysis.

Manages all price feeds, including spot, OPIS, Cash Index, and NYMEX into PDI and DTN.

Communicate with internal and external customers via phone, email, or letter.

Support sales teams in onboarding new customers.

Creates both standard and custom reports requested by operations, sales, and management.



3 years experience in sales analytics, customer service, or operations role in a B2B sales environment.

Strong analytical and conceptual skills.

Previous experience/exposure with ERP systems, PDI experience preferred.

Strong Teamwork and Organization Development skills.

Demonstrated experience in translating business needs into technology requirements.

Outstanding communication (oral, writing and presentation skills).

Demonstrated ability to work well across multiple teams and personalities in a corporate environment.

Responsive to the needs of internal and external customers with a sense of urgency and commitment to follow up.

Ability to work with little supervision and effectively use problem solving skills.

Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Power Point.

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills with attention to detail.
