Energy Recruiters has partnered with is a leading manufacturer that specializes in producing high-quality lubricants, greases and automotive chemicals to support their search for a Production Planner. This role is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.

Responsibilities
Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
Schedule production lines.
Maximize production capacity.
Maintain ideal inventory levels.
Forecast for demand spikes.
Ability to prioritize in a high demand environment.
Maintain clean data.
Explore opportunities for improvement.
Interact with purchasing to maintain sufficient raw materials and inform if there will be a sudden shift in demand.
Create work orders.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain management, or similar discipline.
5 years’ experience schedule lubricant (or similar product) manufacturing lines.
Understanding the complexity of blending a high number of SKUs.
Willingness to travel to multiple manufacturing sites located within the East Coast, Midwest, and Gulf region to work with department leadership.
