Energy Recruiters has been engaged to support a successful, respected merchant refiner in their search for Commercial Leader.   



Based on Experience



Gulf Coast



P&L accountability for the sales of all refinery primary and intermediate products including gasoline, distillates, and jet fuel across multiple customer channels (e.g., wholesale, retail, government, other commercial intermediaries, etc.)

Develop, lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing Team of professionals

Functional leadership and performance management for trading and unbranded wholesale rack marketing teams

Maximize enterprise value, profitable sales margins, and customer service/reliability through contract & spot transactions, trading, and exchange.

Drives the development of sales/supply forecasting, business development strategies, and appropriate metrics for performance management.

Provides day to day servant leadership in the interaction of sales, trading, refining operations, and administration

Develop, execute, and refine strategies and business plans to open new markets.

Design and presentation of market strategies, annual budget plans and monthly sales performance.



Bachelors Degree required

Minimum of 10 years demonstrated success in leading/managing downstream commercial functions, specifically unbranded wholesale marketing and refined products trading.

Demonstrated record of accomplishments as a sales leader, performance manager, and business developer in refined products

Extensive industry involvement and excellent customer relationships

Expert communication and negotiation skills
