Energy Recruiters has been engaged to support our Client in their search for a Distribution Center Leader.   This organization is already one of the leaders in the lubricants sector and continues to grow and scale rapidly.   The DC will be a primary hub for market expansion in the midwest.   

 

Compensation

$70,000 to $80,000

Responsibilities

The Facility Manager is responsible for the day to day operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.   In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and executing daily and short-term plans to achieve operational and business objectives. 

Manage warehouse associates and delivery drivers

Plan, monitor and execute schedules and adjust as needed to ensure proper staffing that support operational demands and business objectives.

Manage inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy.

Maintain productivity, customer service and safety standards on a daily basis

Provide superior customer service and maintain professional and courteous relations with customers and suppliers

Communicate with employees in areas such as: objectives, policies, procedures, safety methods, etc.

Works with dispatchers to coordinates the most efficient deliveries.

Applies knowledge of customer schedules, delivery times, traffic volume and alternate routes to increase route efficiencies.

Has the ability to safely load and unload products according to size of load and content description

Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image

Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Requirements

Approximately 5 years successful management experience with a focus on lubricants distribution and supply chain

Desire to be a business unit leader. Operations and Team building experience.

Customer relation skills with results orientation.

Highest level of integrity, energy, and intelligence.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to build Teams, motivate, mentor, and inspire.

Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
