Energy Recruiters has partnered with a leading environmental services company to support their search for a Facility Engineer. The position will provide project management and engineering support at the facility.
Based on Experience
Ensure health and safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times; holds employees accountable.
Assists in developing capital projects list, budget costs, construction and project schedules, equipment & services procurement, and engineering support for design and development of capital projects and assists in obtaining necessary permits.
Coordinates the plant level project activities with all involved departments such as operations, management, maintenance, compliance, and Health & Safety.
Provides engineering support to plant maintenance department as needed, coordinates planning of scheduled outage of major systems, assures proper and timely repairs, and modifications and improvements to equipment and systems.
Maintains complete documentation and updated facility drawings on file; reviews maintenance records informing plant and facilities engineering management of any warranted improvements.
Assists maintenance department in developing, maintaining and assuring execution of preventive maintenance program (PM).
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering is desired but also open to a Mechanical Engineering degree.
7 to 10 years of experience in refinery, mining, and/or incineration.
Strong background in process equipment, codes, structural, and overall project management.
Experience working with hazardous waste is highly desired
Working knowledge of ACAD, Excel and Microsoft projects
Knowledge of equipment, systems and processes such as instrumentation, piping, valves, pumps, material of construction, coating systems, fire detection and controls, material handling and building/structure maintenance
