Our Client, a successful Energy Trading & Marketing company, has engaged Energy Recruiters to support their Unbranded Wholesale Marketing Team based in Houston.
$90,000 to $125,000 + performance incentives
Houston, TX (Energy Corridor)
Accountable for the profitability and volumetric goals of refined products sales including gasoline and diesel.
Prospect and develop new business relationships on a regional basis across a varied customer base including retailers, jobbers, grocery/HVR, commercial fleets, railroads, and other ratable channels.
Successfully articulate and close sales of spot and contract terms as well as advanced physical/financial transactions
Manage the sales cycle and customer experience including customer setup, credit, and interfacing with operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Support the Wholesale Marketing Team in developing and executing initiatives for market growth and expansion.
Provide transparency on success, failure, performance, and projections to the Leadership Team through metrics analysis and reporting.
Initiate and deliver contributions in the areas of process improvement, budgeting, forecasting, and prospective business development or M&A opportunities.
2+ years of rack/FOB unbranded refined products sales experience, preferably within the Southeastern US.
Must possess a deep understanding of formula/index based pricing models including Argus, Platts, OPIS, and NYMEX.
Demonstrated success in building market share profitable relationship management

Bachelor’s Degree required
Ability to travel regionally at least 25%
