Energy Recruiters has partnered with a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals, fuel, and lubricant products to support their search for a District Sales Manager. The position is responsible for new business opportunities while maintaining and supporting existing account base within the District.
Based on experience
Midwest or Northeast; home office; easy access to a nearby major airport hub.
Monitor and manage the activities and results of Area and Territory Sales managers within your District.
Evaluate field sales staff performance
Identify and develop future leaders
Provide administrative support to the Director of Sales
Provide key input on company strategic initiatives
Develop a thorough understanding of product and service offerings
Stay abreast of industry trends and new developments
Maintain accurate and complete records of direct reports inclusive of all reports, reviews, customer communications and forecasts.
Serve as a resource to internal and external customers
Develop and maintain relationships at major/national accounts inside and outside District geographies
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a science field, marketing, business administration
3-5 years of proven success in technical sales and account management within the petroleum industry (fuel and/or lubricant additives, specialty chemicals – highly desired)
Willing and able to travel
