Energy Recruiters has partnered with a Refiner to support their search for a Regional Sales Manager. The position is responsible for new business development and account management.
Based on experience
Remote; Home Office; Must currently reside within the corridor between Southern New England to Baltimore/DC area)
Identification and acquisition of new customers to support business plans.
Building and maintaining a sales pipeline with a high conversion rate.
Networking within the industry to drive new leads and opportunities.
Develop annual business plans with customers to increase share of wallet.
Establish relationships at all levels of the account from the senior level through Purchasing, R&D, Operations, etc.
Bachelor’s degree required; technical focus (Chemistry or Engineering) preferred
4 to 7 years of related sales and/or marketing experience.
Technical sales experience; petrochemical or chemical processing sales experience preferred.
Must be motivated to land new business. Managing accounts is part of this role but the ability to drive new business is a key requirement.
Expertise in establishing, growing and maintaining relationships
Must understand end market applications and performance advantages/differentiators of products and services.
This role requires up to 70% travel
