Energy Recruiters has partnered with a leading fuel supplier and distributor to support their search for an Inside Sales Representative to penetrate Government accounts. The position is responsible for maintaining existing accounts, liaising with marketing & sales for lead generation, and new business development.

Greater Atlanta area
Retain existing/base customers and grow new business.
Work closely with outside direct sales team and vendor reps.
Establish and maintain customer relationships by introducing new products, selling and upgrading regular products and informing customers of any promotions.
Utilize product knowledge to provide technical assistance to customers and assist them in identifying and qualifying (if necessary) products to meet their needs.
Monitor sales reports for trends needing explanation and possible intervention.
Continually updates customer account profiles.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Implement company programs and upsell to customers and prospects
Responsive to the needs of internal and external customers with sense of urgency and commitment to follow up.
Coordinate between customers, customer service center, and operations to improve customer/company relations.
Lead Generation-Perform aggressive due diligence and continuously develop/communicate fresh new business leads to Outside sales team.
A minimum of 2 years Government sales experience is required
Some general knowledge of the petroleum product distribution industry is required
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred
Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel with working knowledge of pivot tables, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
Ability to build relationships and manage new and existing accounts
Verifiable work history and previous success building and maintaining relationships
