Energy Recruiters has been engaged to support our client in their search for a Sales Manager.   In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing the fuel, lubricant, DEF, equipment budget, and strategic planning of the Sales Department.

Compensation

Based on experience; fuel card, vehicle allowance, and performance incentives

 

Responsibilities

Maintains effective Sales Team by participating in the recruiting, hiring, and training new members of the sales staff and assisting in ongoing technical training.

Assists sales representatives in developing viable prospect lists and opportunity pipeline, creative marketing strategies, and sales proposals.

Maintains existing business by offering technical expertise where necessary/beneficial, guiding sales staff in tactical daily routine, efficient scheduling and problem solving, as well as acting as a backup to inside sales representatives if absent.

Conducts weekly meetings with department personnel to review budgetary numbers versus goals to date, pipeline configurations, prospects and weekly schedules.

Assists in making annual departmental budgetary projections, including expenses and gallon and profit targets for individual Inside Sales Representatives and for the department as a whole.

Reviews department's equipment in the field as well as equipment agreement signatures, repairs, and installs as needed.

 

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or at least three years Sales experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.

Ability to write reports and general business correspondence as well as effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and customers.

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, terminating, training and coaching employees.
