Energy Recruiters has partnered with a leading Convenience Retailer to support their search for a Senior Food Service Category Manager. The Senior Food Service Category Manager strategically manages and innovates to increase sales, total gross dollars, and market share. This role is responsible for developing and leading the food service and dispensed beverage offerings and guest experience efforts for all locations.

Lead the vision and development of the food service experience offered including developing concepts, recipes, menus, merchandising and marketing.
Analyze product profitability, selection, presentation and assortment using category management practices.
Budget and monitor sales and margin plans in accordance with personal and company overall goals.
Lead development of systems and processes to ensure all food experiences are operationally and financially executable.
Lead food safety and sanitation efforts, ensuring every meal is served with the highest levels of attention to quality and safety for our guests.
Oversee competitive analysis, including auditing competitive product selection, promotions and pricing through on-site visits and market research.
Present information (i.e., new concepts, plans, category overviews, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information, gaining feedback, and ensuring adherence to establish internal controls.
Organize and participate in meetings for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information to perform functions.
Develop the vision, long and short term goals for the purpose of expanding food service programs and keeping offerings fresh and relative.
Support department resets, remodels, and new store openings as appropriate.
Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
BA/BS in Business or related field required.
Successful 5+ year track record leading QSR food service initiatives
Knowledge of food service and dispensed beverage equipment, types, functions, and comfort with reading technical manuals.
Working knowledge of the food chain and market conditions that influence it.
Serv Safe certification.
Experience interacting with local health officials.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Strong influencing, change management, and negotiation skills.
Able to demonstrate a pattern of successful problem-solving.
