Energy Recruiters has partnered with a leading petroleum refiner to support their search for a HR Supervisor. The position will oversee all activities associated with labor relations, employee relations, and recruiting.

Responsibilities
Administers the Collective Bargaining Agreement in a consistent manner and partners with Company and Local Union leadership to resolve employee concerns; participates in collective bargaining negotiations and updates the agreement following negotiations.
Lead and/or participate in investigations of complaints filed relating to HR related or Company policy issues; coordinate and conduct investigations, for both union and non-union personnel.
Investigates grievances submitted by the Local Union and composes grievance responses; ensures responses are in alignment with the Refinery Leadership Team’s perspective.
Maintains a collaborative relationship with the Local Union when handling unique or complex situations.
Coordinate with all departments on hourly and salaried staffing needs.
Plan and budget for large hiring initiatives for hourly operations and maintenance positions.
Responsible for all internal and external position advertisements, interviewing and hiring process at all levels of the organization.
Supervise the Operations/Maintenance scheduling staff.
Provides guidance and resolutions to the Operations and Maintenance Schedulers on unique situations while maintaining compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Develops and conducts various HR training sessions to communicate policies to refinery personnel.
Participate as a member of the Emergency Command Center (on-call duties) and provide back-up to the HR Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Human Resources or related business field).
Significant Labor Relations experience required in collective bargaining agreement negotiations and administration
Must have experience in manufacturing, petrochemical or refining industry.
