Energy Recruiters is supporting in industry innovator in their search for a Branded Wholesale Executive Leader.   In this role, you will be accountable for the continued growth and retention of a network exceeding 400 sites.   This opportunity is for a Brand Builder and Owner.   Creativity, passion, and a love for creating business opportunities are non-negotiable for this leadership role.   



Texas (on site)



The VP Branded Wholesale is expected to drive accretive growth of the brand marketing business.   

Develop a strong and credible relationship with the CEO and other senior executives, contributing to overall strategy and business results

Develop brand marketing strategy and programs to grow the Brand

Lead implementation and execution of the commercial plan, building positions in core markets and expanding into greenfield markets

Provide leadership, advice, and counsel on proposed commercial negotiations and deal structuring

P&L accountability for branded wholesale channel 

Oversee and manage deployment of marketing/sales resources and goals 

Drive growth of the credit card business and other add-ons that enhance the Brand

Collaborate with Team members to formulate strategies, plans, process improvements, new customer offers and changes 

Lead 4 to 8 Sales Professionals in meeting annual sales goals

Identify and manage early sales pipeline activity to focus rep activity on high value prospects.

Daily coaching to develop sales professionals

Understand changes to the petroleum marketplace including regulatory and competitive pressures

Prepare Company and Brand information for customers and identify opportunities for sales process improvement



Bachelor’s degree in a related area and 10+ years of experience in sales and brand leadership within the transportation fuels industry or very closely related industry.

Experience with leading a sales team, serving an a executive sponsor for key customer accounts, and maintaining vendor relationships

Proven ability to develop unique Brand value proposition, programs, and marketing strategies that drive success and enthusiasm

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

Expert written and oral communication skills

Insight Driven Sales Skills – Challenging Customers; teaching them new information about their business

Creative thinker with an agile commercial mindset & strong analytical skills.
