Our Client, an established and growing, regional lubes and fuels distributor located in the Mid-South is seeking a Sales Manager to educate, motivate, and lead the Lubricant and Fuel Sales teams.

Responsibilities
Manage the sales team and position the company for organic growth as well as acquisitions
Evaluate existing sales techniques, make recommendations for improvement, educate the team, and hold members accountable
Support business development and encourage the sales team to continuously improve and expand the company’s offerings
Interact with team, attend sales calls, provide coaching to team members
Promote branded sales while understanding the need for private label offerings
Build a culture of continuous improvement and loyalty amongst the sales team. Provide avenues for CLS certifications, sales training, enhanced fuel knowledge, and career advancement
Work very closely with all company stakeholders including leadership, back office, warehouse ops, bobtail and transport ops, and customer service
Establish excellent rapport with customer service and personally engage in problem resolution
Monthly, quarterly, annual forecasting, budgeting and reporting.

Requirements
CLS certification required or in process
Familiarity with Mobil lubes catalog preferred but not required
Proven sales management skills and experience
Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship management skills
Ability to think on your feet, act decisively, and promote the best interests of the company and its people
Ability to manage and maintain strong supplier relations across the lubricants, fuels, and logistics supply chains.
Public speaking and presentation skills
Microsoft Office product knowledge
Familiarity with DM2 preferred by not required
