Responsibilities
Oversee equipment operations, shop, fleet, dispatch, and administration
Oversee team of drivers and dispatchers
Maintains compliance for all fleet regulations
Negotiate supply contracts and agreements Accountable for fuel cost competitiveness/procuring lowest cost products.
Set and maintain KPI’s to achieve safety and profitability goals
Oversee equipment utilization and employees
Maintain staffing levels by maintaining and hiring qualified employees
Strong emphasis on maintaining safety procedures and regulations
Requirements
5+ years of transportation management experience
Experience with company owned trucks and third party logistics
Current fuel transportation experience preferably in the retail fueling space
Fuel pricing experience
P&L experience
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Proficient computer skills
