Energy Recruiters has partnered with a national petroleum marketer to support their search for a National Accounts Business Development Leader in Fuel & Lubricant Sales. This role requires experience in selling to clients in the waste management, heavy duty trucking, construction, or infrastructure markets.

 

Compensation

Competitive base salary $130k-$150k (based on experience) plus bonus, car allowance, and comprehensive benefits

 

Location

Remote position but must currently reside in Phoenix, AZ or Houston, TX

 

Responsibilities

Prospect, engage, and close multi-regional deals in fuel, lubricant, and chemical business.

Leverage relationships to grow new and existing accounts.

Understand customer business challenges to offer tailored solutions.

Manage current accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting performance targets.

Develop and execute pricing strategies and proposals for profitable growth.

Collaborate with operations and supply chain to ensure on-time delivery and service.

 

Requirements

7+ years of experience selling petroleum, fuel, lubricants, or greases to multi-state customers.

Experience in waste management or heavy construction is a plus!

Proven track record of closing deals with senior management.

Strong leadership in sales, goal-setting, and driving performance.

Ability to develop and execute long-term account strategies.

Knowledge of market trends and value chains.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing (or equivalent).

Ability to travel up to 50-60%.
