Energy Recruiters has partnered with a leading refiner to support their search for an Unbranded Wholesale Sales & Marketing Representative. The position is responsible for new business development and account management.
Based on experience
Southern California. Open to relocation candidates or candidates working remotely who have established markets in California.
Prospect new business opportunities; maintain sales volumes and or grow at designated accounts.
Maintain key customer relationships to achieve business targets including volume, margin, and credit.
Responsible for coordination between customer business, supply chain, logistics and customer service; liaise with customers and credit to ensure operations are within the guidelines.
Coordinate and negotiate prices, supply agreements, and contracts with key accounts; provide accurate customer demand information for supply planning.
Responsible for the planning and coordination customer visits.
Responsible for developing account plans and delivering results.
Participant and contribute in strategy meetings.
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business or Marketing.
5+ years’ experience in either sales or logistics in either a commodity and/or specialty chemical environment.
Must have strong sales planning & execution skills.
Strong analytical skills to create, maintain, and update profitability reports.
Proven success delivering results in highly competitive markets.
Proficient is Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. RightAngle is preferred
Must be self-motivated, work well in a team environment, and have strong interpersonal skills.
Must be able to accommodate overnight domestic travel for 20% of the time.
