Working closely with the President and each Division/Department Manager to develop a Strategy and plan to improve each Division/Department.
Coordinating and Preparing the Budget and Financial Forecasts for each Division/Department with the help of each Division/Department head.
Reviewing on a Monthly Basis the Financial Statements with each Division/Department head.
Forecasting future and current financial needs for each Division/Department. This will include Growth and Maintenance CAP Ex for each Division/Department.
Actively participating in Management/Division/Department Meetings and providing feedback.
Preparing, Forecasting and Budgeting the Company's Liquidity position and offering suggestions for improvement.
Ensure that all State, Federal and Local Regulatory reporting is in compliance.
Develop measurable KPI's for each Division/Department.
Report KPI's Progress to Management on a regular basis.
Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data/metrics.
Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations; participating in educational opportunities;
Reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Adherence to Corporate Standards and Operating Procedures.
Embrace and carry out the Company's Core Values and Mission Statement.
Provide oversight of collection of Accounts Receivables for each Division/Department.
Develop DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) goals for each Department working with each Manager.
Implement and Employ technology to improve the overall business.
Meeting deadlines for Preparation and Management of Operating and Capital Budgets for the Company.
Ensure that proper hurdle rates are being met for any investments by each Department/Division. Seek and Participate in Continuous Improvement Schools, Study Groups or other Share Groups, etc
Assist all Divisions/Departments in determining the following: Human Capital needs, Rolling Stock needs, etc.
Ensure that GAAP Accounting policies/procedures are being followed.
Work to improve and make suggested changes to internal controls within the entire Company.
Coordinate with external CPA Firm to ensure that Year End Financials are completed on time. Monitor all Bank required covenants.
5-Years experience in a Financial Leadership role.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.
Experience in the Petroleum Industry is preferred
