Energy Recruiters has been engaged to support a premier convenience retailer in their search for a Director of Fuel, Pricing, and Environmental.



$100K- $110K Plus Bonus; Comprehensive Benefits



Manage Business Unit's Fuel and Environmental teams & accountable for all activities

Develop and implement Business Unit fuels retail pricing, fuels marketing, and fuel supply strategy

Manage all supplier relationships and Business Unit's RFP's

Assist on Merger & Acquisition activity within Business Unit

Develop and manage fuel capital budget and execution

Work with Fuels Marketing and Business Unit Facilities to finalize and communicate our NTI fuels strategy

Steer the project to support the fuels single site business development efforts via real time reporting of our cost structures by brand

In partnership with various Business Unit's, determine optimum products and origins to maximize economic performance (bio-diesel, non-ethanol, future of E85).

Create and implement an effective fuels database inclusive of dashboard/reporting capabilities to be reviewed and understood by market and by Business Unit

Supply portfolio optimization

Responsible for developing and mentoring fuels team, including fuel manager and analysts

Develop environmental opex and capex budgets

Responsible for all environmental related compliance and R&M

Responsible for developing and mentoring environmental team, including environmental manager and technicians.

New Business Integration

Assist in structuring and analyzing RFP's and sourcing deals connected to acquisitions

Review and recommend on existing fuel sourcing processes of companies/files we've acquired

Consult with newly acquired Business Units about processes/systems and decide what should be implemented

Post-acquisition and synergy capture for all fuel related activity

Director level interaction with suppliers, develop, build and maintain relationships

Assist in budgeting and long-range planning on an on-going basis

Work with logistics to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise with suppliers and petroleum carriers that have been escalated from the Business Units



Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, accounting or related field preferred.

Two (2) years petroleum industry experience required including management responsibility. 

Strong managerial and leadership competencies required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products with knowledge to develop and use other software tools.

Limited travel requiring occasional overnight stays.
