Energy Recruiters has partnered with a leading fuel supplier and distributor to support their search for an Account Manager.  The position responsible for managing the current book of commercial business and supporting the commercial sales team in the growth of their customers.

 

Compensation

$50,000 to $60,000 + performance incentives

 

Location

Minneapolis, MN (office based)

 

Responsibilities

Grow existing customer accounts by selling additional product or cross selling all product lines to meet customers’ needs

Continual research for new prospects

Service existing accounts, including accurate completion of order fulfillment, delivery service standards, and proper administration of credit procedures

Collaborate with the sales reps on customer engagement to ensure all parties are coordinated and working together for customer retention

Provide for rapid resolution of customer problems; proactively prepare strategies to prevent recurring issues from impacting customer retention

Build relationships with customer to create loyalty and promote referrals

Ensure customer service quality, efficiency, and accuracy with all transactions

Answer inbound phone calls and take/place accurate orders from customers

Maintain CRM in a timely and accurate manner for the purposes of tracking activities with calls, email and all other aspects of customer information

Effectively multi-task and exhibit independent, proactive account management and decision making skills

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred

Petroleum Industry knowledge preferred

3-5 years business to business sales experience preferably in a customer account retention type role

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio

Prior experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems

Ability to manage large accounts and communicate with executive level clients

Strong communication, presentation skills, problem solving skills
