Energy Recruiters has partnered with a National Fuel and Lubricant Additives Manufacturer to support their search for a Regional Sales Executive.   This is a terrific opportunity with a well-established and growing organization based in the Midwest.  Sales cycles can be complex, so the position offers a base salary, benefits, and a commission-based incentive program.

Responsibilities

Develop new business by working with prospective customers in a consultative sales role.

Contact potential customers directly by phone, email, and on-site visits/cold calls with key decision-makers to fully understand their needs and share our company's capabilities to meet those needs. 

The candidate should have a basic knowledge level of the fuel industry to advise customers of current industry related issues and advise potential chemical solutions.

Identify prospects by researching the market, understanding potential customer needs, identify key players in those organizations, and build business relationships in a residual sales business.

Develop a deep understanding of our company's position in the refined fuel industry by working closely with internal experts to fully understand our processes and capabilities.

Partner with internal laboratory staff, sales leadership, and marketing personal to help close new business in a team orientated culture.

 

Requirements

We are seeking a sales professional; you must enjoy the sales process and be passionate for the challenge every day

4-year degree in marketing, chemistry, sales, communications, or related field experience preferred

2-5 years' experience in a sales position required.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with CRM, Excel, and Power Point software

Experience and knowledge of the chemical or fuel/fleet industry market a plus.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to analyze new opportunities quickly and identify how they fit our manufacturing capabilities.

Willing and able to travel both in/out of state 60% of the time; valid driver license required with clean driving record
