Energy Recruiters has partnered with a multinational refiner and distributor of petroleum products in a search for a Corporate Development Associate as they pursue an aggressive M&A strategy.  This role will report to the Manager of Corporate Development and work closely with the senior management team.

Using a detailed due-diligence approach, this role will provide clear and insightful analytical modeling for actionable decision-making for current and future mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

Manage crucial due-diligence streams to support key analytics and problem solving

Utilizing best practices, provide accurate business valuations on potential opportunities through the application of proper frameworks and business valuation models.

Conduct detailed analytics and research into the value of current and future acquisition targets

Incorporate, develop and present findings and recommendations on potential investment projects to senior management.

Provide support on wider corporate initiatives 

 

Requirements

5+ years of work experience in business analytics

Advanced degree in business administration, accounting or finance

Experience in downstream oil and gas industry is a plus, but not crucial.

Heavy emphasis on attention to detail

Superior economic and financial modeling capabilities

Excellent verbal and written skills, especially in the ability to relate complicated material to nearly any audience

Have the ability to work within a team or individually depending on the project
