Energy Recruiters is supporting a successful Regional Convenience Retail Chain in their search for a Food Service Manager.
$70,000 to $80,000 plus bonus
Lead the development and enhancement of the food service program on all company owned convenience stores.
Maintain knowledge of food service trends in the convenience store industry and continually take initiatives in partnership with executives to drive profitable food service program.
Responsible to ensure that all stores meet all federal, state, local requirements to offer quality food.
Responsible to train and educate all food service associates at the stores and ensure that stores consistently meet all regulatory requirements.
Maintain the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and serviceability in the food service area in all the stores
Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service
Enhance and maintain good positive communication at all levels within the organization and vendors to enhance the overall performance and profitability of food service offerings and to continue to grow our customer base and foster our current relationships with customers and vendors.
Conduct site audits to identify and resolve site issues and problems in a timely and positive manner.
Manages & coaches poor performances appropriately, in partnership with the Operations Director and Human Resources, to improve overall productivity and performance at the stores
4 year college degree preferred in marketing, business or related field
At least 5 years of experience in food service industry and 3 years of experience in the convenience store industry is strongly preferred.
Serve Safe certification required.
Proven track record of driving sales and profitability in food service industry. Have a strong passion for food service, multi-unit experience strongly preferred.
Strong business acumen with ability to read, analyze business reports
Strong knowledge of federal, state and local laws relating to food service offerings
Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.
Ability to travel as per the needs of the business
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Maintain a disciplined approach to managing, training and developing store teams in food service programs.
Uphold company standards in safety, personal appearance, words, actions, store cleanliness and customer service.
