Description

Reporting to the President, this role will be responsible for corporate development, driving a wide-range of strategic initiatives,  projects, and acquisitions that are in line with the client’s robust growth strategy.

Responsibilities

Conduct analysis for modeling and valuation of opportunities in acquisition pipeline

Coordinate a wide range due-diligence review activities of new and potential acquisitions 

Manage a team of professionals to analyze, value and offer recommendations on acquisition deals in the pipeline.

Spearhead and execute on key corporate strategy decisions

Develop subordinates through planning, coaching, mentoring and educating them on business best practices

Manage content and supporting information of presentational materials intended for key stakeholders and senior management.

Manage due diligence work flows through problem solving and analytical support

Maintain and improve of corporate financial modeling to ensure projects and acquisitions are consistent with overall corporate strategy.

Prepare quarterly analysis and materials for review by senior management and key stakeholders

Make recommendations based of data and detailed research to senior management

 

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in a private equity or investment banking with focus on M&A negotiation

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA, CFA, CA or CBV is preferred

Previous management experience

Exceptional financial assessment and modeling skills

Keen sense for detail and quality work

Strong analytical, verbal and written skills
