Energy Recruiters has partnered with a leading fuel supplier and distributor to support their search for a Rack/FOB Sales Executive. The position is responsible for developing and implementing a successful sales strategy for Southeast Markets.
Salary plus performance incentives
Home office based – Must reside in the Southeast, Central, or Midwest US
Meet or exceed sales and margin budget goals and market plans.
Develop existing and establish new business relationships with current or target customer organizations, including corporate level executives.
Obtain new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to make sales calls on existing or potential customers / prospects; develop and implement effective sales strategy.
Manage CRM pipeline of prospects and executes daily contact within the system; create and maintain strong sales pipeline with detailed information.
Understand customer needs and requirements, discuss current solutions and product offerings.
Prepare sales proposals by quoting pricing, credit terms and service offerings to customer.
Perform functions to complete sales cycle (daily pricing, forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance, correspondence, communications).
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, supply availability, products, new products, marketing and techniques, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Business required or equivalent experience
Experience selling to national or large key accounts, commercial, large fleets, fuel distributors and/or within the transportation industry
Unbranded fuel sales or supply experience required
Track record of driving new sales growth and cold-calling success
Prior experience with cold calls
Past experience working in a trade desk scenario in which they are negotiating multiple buy and sell side agreements at one time
Strong level of business acumen as it pertains to operational processes
Knowledge of pricing, indexes, and calculation of netbacks or spreads.
Microsoft Office Suite skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
