Energy Recruiters has partnered with a lubricants manufacturer/distributor to support their search for a Manager of Production Scheduling & Planning. The position is responsible for leading the company’s S&OP process and preparing and executing a Master Production Schedule.
$80K to $100K (based on experience)
Responsible for overall production planning, capacity planning, scheduling, prioritization, and tracking/monitoring of production activities using various techniques and methodologies.
Create and analyze capacity data at the site. Provide what if capacity and schedule analysis as needed for changing demand requirements and constraints.
Work with Procurement, Shipping, Receiving, Sales and Production Departments to ensure schedule compliance
Understand forecasting, demand planning, material/supply/inventory planning, and manufacturing processes/capacity to verify supply commitments
Manage supply buffers and allocation to shorten lead times and build resiliency into the supply chain without driving excess
Provide reporting and tracking of KPI’s
Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
Hire and manage a team of production planners and schedulers
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related degree
5+ years of experience in supply planning/S&OP process, forecast/demand/supply/capacity planning
3+ years of experience in supply planning of Consumer Packaged Goods
3+ Years of advanced analytical experience using tools such as Business Objects, SQL, Power-query, Tableau, Power-BI, etc.
MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain or other quantitative disciplines preferred
Broad supply chain experience, such as S&OP, Demand and Supply Planning, Master Production Scheduling, New product introduction, forecast/demand/supply/capacity planning, and supplier management
Strong proficiency in analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, and statistics software
