Energy Recruiters has partnered with a leading fuel supplier and distributor to support their search for a Customer Service & Operations Manager. In this role you will be managing day to day operations of a dedicated customer operations team to ensure the long-term success and profitability of the customers.
$60K to $85K plus annual bonus potential
Manage P&L and budget to create profitability and achieve annual financial goals
Develop and implement clear strategies for maximizing profitability and customer retention
Prepare business reviews for customers, including contract compliance, volume by product, etc.
Review monthly operational metrics like credit/rebill rates or fixed price compliance and take corrective action if necessary
Coordinate with various departments to ensure high level operational issues are resolved completely and in a timely manner
Provide back up support across all functions within the team to ensure business continuity
Identify tasks that are critical to maintaining customer satisfaction levels and communicate with employees to raise awareness of their individual roles in delivering satisfaction
Ensure consistency of approach across all ensuring that loads are confirmed with carriers and that orders are billed timely and accurately
Maximize productivity and minimize costs while maintaining a high standard of customer service to drive a culture of ongoing efficiency and excellence
Participate effectively in leading discussions and making key decisions pertaining to operational initiatives, operating model adjustments, and day-to-day business execution
Identify opportunities to reduce loss and increase profitability
Understand the sales pipeline and impact on the organization; whether new business or renewal opportunities, and the timing of each to ensure the support teams are aware and prepared to execute at the highest level of service.
Manage weekly and monthly building maintenance tasks
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Three (3) years minimum leadership required
3-4 years of business to business experience, preferably in a customer account management role
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills required
Prior petroleum industry experience preferred
Strong financial acumen with the ability to read, understand and analyze a profit and loss statement
