Energy Recruiters has been engaged to support our client in their search for a Senior Director of their proprietary/in-house transportation fleet.

 

Compensation

$150K-$180K Plus Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits

 

Responsibilities

Full P&L and operational accountability for multiple regional fleets (geographically spread across key US markets; 350+ drivers)

Responsible for Service Level, Cost, HSSE, and Compliance

Serve as Commercial & Service Leader to customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Identify and execute process and cost improvement activities within the in-house fleet.  Drive digitalization and automation.

Develop people and leaders within their function.  Create and implement retention strategies as well as succession plans for key roles/contributors.

Drive change, leverage the Client's global capabilities/experiences, and define optimal footprint. 

Serve as Key member of Global Logistic leadership team. 
           

Requirements:

BA degree preferred

10+ years of experience managing a proprietary fleet within the liquid motor fuels industry

Strong interpersonal skills, strong critical thinking skills, sound decision-making skills and negotiation skills.

Extensive maintenance knowledge of transports/power units as well as vehicle computer systems. 

Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

Capable of creating and implementing a multi-year road map for achieving best-in-class results for critical KPIs.

Able to successfully manage multiple tasks and projects.

Strong knowledge of TMT or similar technology within a fleet maintenance division.

Experience with onboard GPS tracking (Peoplenet/Qualcom).

Must possess excellent computer skills with advanced level MS Office programs, Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Ability plan, execute and launch new software programs.
