Energy Recruiters has been engaged to support their search for an Executive Leader to continue developing and innovating this best-in-class organization.
This Leadership opportunity is a strategic role accountable for refined products supply and distribution’s contributions to the enterprise. As a senior executive leader, you will represent your team internally and externally, mentor and develop critical thinkers, and collaborate closely with the sales, operations, finance, information technology, and human resource leaders to ensure value creation for employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Commercial Accountabilities
Supply & Risk Management: Procurement of >200bpd refined products across bulk pipeline shipping, rack contracts, and spot purchasing. Build, manage, and foster supplier relationships with existing as well as new suppliers.
Sales: Collaborate with the sales organization to support growth of customer base, volume, and margin opportunities. Use your commercial curiosity to help originate new products, services, and relationships that open commercial possibilities.
Operations/Logistics: Collaborate with the operations organization to ensure seamless, efficient, and reliable service of customers across the portfolio.
Management Expectations
Safe Work Environment: Create, foster and enhance a safe work environment for team members, customers, suppliers, and vendors.
Performance Reporting: Bring focus and inspire the Team to row in the same direction. Develop, review and improve upon leading key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive the goals and standards. Regularly review performance data, provide actionable insights, and hold your Team accountable.
Operational Excellence: Ensure consistent implementation of effective policies, processes and standards. Obtain, analyze and benchmark results from applicable analytics, share groups, and industry resources.
Budget Management: Develop, manage, and optimize the procurement and supply operations budget. Monitor financial performance and mindfully adjust as necessary to provide accurate reporting and forecasting.
Technology Integration: Leverage data and technology tools to enhance efficiency across the supply discipline
Customer Focus: Work closely with Sales & Operations Teams to ensure high brand execution, scalability and capacity, and delivered value to exceed Customer expectations. Build and nurture direct relationships with Customers to promote long-term business partnerships.
Expected Competencies
10+ years' experience of leadership and management experience in functional areas including sales, supply, and/or logistics within downstream petroleum/energy sales & distribution.
Strong industry knowledge of refined products macro-economics, domestic and international supply methodologies, and distribution logistics.
Documented results in leading and managing high-performing teams at the Director level (managing managers)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to recognize and address inefficiencies as well as implement innovative solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Transportation, Supply Chain or related field or relevant work experience preferred.
Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
