Description

Energy Recruiters has partnered with an industry-leading manufacturer and marketer of chemical products to support their search for a Product Manager. This pivotal role will lead new product development, work closely with the sales, implementation and customer success teams, and lead strategic planning.

Midwest, remote work is not an option.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic product and market planning processes.

Manage all aspects of support required to implement strategic plans.

Manage marketing, distribution, and operational systems related to new and existing products.

Support the team goal of year-over-year increases in sales, bottom line profits, and acquisition of new customers.

Meet with customers, suppliers, and sales and technical teams to develop, maintain and extend product lines and sales channels.

Document and communicate industry positions via presentations, white papers, and blogs.

Provide education and support leading to greater effectiveness of the sale team.

Perform business development activities through industry contacts, conventions, and selected organizations.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing with strong chemistry or technical experience

Strategic planner with ability to develop and execute business plans

Industry contacts and participation in organizations such as ASTM, AFPM, ILTA, SIGMA, and others

Proficient in Microsoft’s Office Suite including Excel, Power Point, and Word.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage in meaningful conversations with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

An influential leader with the ability to effectively communicate, set direction, and manage outcomes.
