Brand Communications Director
$120k to $140k + bonus
Proactive champion of the brand’s look, feel and voice across all channels and throughout brands and sub-brands
Prepare, research, plan, and implement integrated communications strategies derived from business priorities, in collaboration with COO.
Drive and evolve brand marketing and content strategy across channels, including but not limited to: social media, website, in store advertising programs, annual trade show, partnerships/sponsorships and brand-building email.
Create content for and manage all social media platforms and websites.
Measure and report campaign effectiveness.
Assist in the implementation and ongoing strategies for loyalty program with a focus on improving the customer experience and increasing customer retention, purchase frequency, brand engagement, and lifetime value.
Create content and drive the production of Annual Trade Show Conference.
Coordinate, create content and publish internal newsletter.
Manage marketing programs and communications for store grand openings.
Develop and execute the always-on brand voice, look and feel across all communication.
Work with outside agencies/suppliers and internal resources to procure support material for merchandising programs, trade presentations and communications.
Assist in managing agency relationships.
Gather relevant learnings from consumer and store feedback and leverage information to create and optimize strategies and tactics, ongoing.
Partner cross-functionally (operations, category management) to aggregate and share consumer insights, including leveraging syndicated data as appropriate.
Represent the voice of the consumer in internal discussions.
Ongoing reporting of relevant industry/brand/marketing trends.
Attend conferences and other educational events
B.A/B.S, Communication, Marketing. Master’s degree in the related field is preferred
7+ years' experience in brand and digital marketing
Impeccable writing, editing, presentation and oral communication skills.
Strong personal leadership and influencing skills, with ability to build consensus.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, tenacity, and emotional intelligence, including a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Credible and engaging personal presence.
Extensive knowledge and experience with established and emerging social platforms.
Knowledge and experience with email marketing strategy development and execution.
Knowledge and experience with digital marketing measurement models and with Google Analytics.
Strong experience working cross-functionally.
Strong experience creating digital content - written and visual - to communicate brand messaging.
Proven expertise in executing campaigns that build awareness of a brand and its services, preferably for a fast growth retail organization.
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple program areas and internal stakeholders.
