Energy Recruiters has been engaged by a very successful Petroleum Marketer to support their search for a Rack Pricing Analyst.   This marketer is wholesaling over 1.5B gallons annually and operating in over 20 states.   In this role, you will be responsible for  implementing rack strategies in the Group and Gulf Coast.  If you know of someone that may be a good match for this opportunity, please let us know. Responsibilities

Implement rack pricing strategy, monitor key metrics, collaborate with Sales & Supply Team, develop competitive models, and set posted prices.

Perform analysis on available fuels and marketing data to determine competitive market conditions and inform pricing tactics.

Develop pricing strategy by rack.

Improve data and reporting for pricing decision making.

Achieve goals of increased volume and profit by analyzing the relationship between pricing and volume, past sales performance, competitive pricing and cost data, sales budget and projected sales. 

Improve data and reporting while maintaining databases to provide pricing information essential for daily pricing decisions and analysis of market elasticity.

Answer customer and carrier questions, troubleshoot problems regarding products provided, and address loading issues

Support the billing team by assisting with maintaining pricing and invoicing set-up and following up on any questions or issues

Actively participate in acquired company supply and sales integrations

Support internal/external logistics teams with supply directive information/follow up

Obtain a working knowledge of supply tools such as DTN TABS/Fuel Buyer.  Apply and maintain those tools as directed or needed

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 1-5 years of transportation fuels pricing experience, preferably at rack level in the Group and/or Gulf Coast Markets

Must be highly literate in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. 

Must possess strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple activities & deliverables, and strong attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Experience with DTN/OPIS/TABS/fuel supplier web portals preferred
