Energy Recruiters has partnered with a national petroleum marketer in their search for an Unbranded Wholesale Marketing Representative for the Northeastern US (NY, CT, RI, MA).
Based on experience, bonus/commission, medical/dental, 401K and more
Accountable for the profitability and volumetric goals of rack/FOB refined products sales
Prospect and develop new business relationships on a regional basis across a varied customer base including retailers, jobbers, grocery/HVR, commercial fleets, railroads, and other ratable channels.
Successfully articulate and close sales of spot and contract terms as well as advanced physical/financial transactions
Actively manage a book of Clients in your designated territory by maintaining and developing lasting relationship
Continuously identify new sales opportunities with new customers, new markets, and/or new product offerings
Maintain expert knowledge of all current product types and pricing methods offered through the company system
Actively work with the supply and trading team to manage inventory positions across all products and terminals
Maintaining effective daily communication and timely reporting with other branches of the company
Assist in the development and execution of marketing related materials that drive new sales initiatives
2+ years of unbranded refined products sales experience
Must possess an understanding of formula/index based pricing models including Argus, Platts, OPIS, and NYMEX.
Demonstrated success in building market share profitable relationship management
Expert communication and negotiation skills
Expert financial skills
Expert organizational skills
Bachelor’s Degree required
Ability to travel regionally at least 25%
