Provide leadership, strategic vision and support within the sales and marketing group regarding delivered fuels business.
Obtain significant gains in market-share through a deep understanding of the delivered fuels space, goal setting, targeted marketing, direct sales and management of the sales process.
Work with upper management team to identify, set, and execute plans that will significantly add customer counts through increased sales and reduced attrition of the delivered fuel accounts.
Able to perform detailed program analytics with an understanding of what data is needed, what it is showing and what actions may be suggested.
Work with the VP of Sales in the development and execution of a marketing plan with specific goals and strategy to bring desired gains in the delivered fuels segment.
Development and execution of sales and marketing programs across delivered fuels sales channels
Identifying and bring to market, differentiation programs, products and services
Build brand awareness making the company people associate with exceptional fuel delivery and service.
Provide detailed analytics that will be used in preparing sales forecasts and reports, to monitor sales performance
Communicating effectively with internal business partners and senior staff on the programs and progress.
Work with other sales and marketing teams to identify growth opportunities.
Development of special programs for residential communities.
Qualifying customer groups / prospects to identify sales opportunities for residential products and services.
5+ years of residential heating oil and propane delivery business as well as the sale and delivery of fuel products to commercial accounts.
Understanding of the ALL delivered fuels product lines (e.g., gasoline, diesel, propane, and HO)
Possess experience across multiple core disciplines including program analytics, sales, marketing, operations, client services, and contract management.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of progressive sales management
Ability to motivate and lead individuals and teams to continuously improve performance and effectiveness
Experience in business transformation and process improvement using proven problem-solving methodologies
