Energy Recruiters has been engaged by a privately held, regional energy marketer to support their search for a Vice President of Supply to lead and scale this critical function across Texas and the Southwest. This role will have full ownership of fuel procurement, pricing strategy, risk management, and supplier partnerships—directly impacting margin performance and overall company growth.

Responsibilities
End-to-end fuel procurement and strategic sourcing, including supplier, exchange, and rack agreements
Enterprise-wide pricing strategy and daily pricing execution
Relationships with refiners, terminal operators, pipeline companies, and key suppliers
Manage rack marketing opportunities across all terminals and supply points
Market intelligence and analytics leveraging OPIS, ARGUS, Platts, and DTN
Identification of arbitrage and supply optimization opportunities
Development of hedging and risk management programs to protect margins
Cross-functional support to sales through pricing strategy and market insights
Requirements
10+ years in fuel procurement, trading, pricing, and/or petroleum marketing
Deep expertise in Texas and Southwest fuel markets
Strong command of pricing methodologies, market analytics, and supply logistics
Experience with hedging tools (futures, swaps, options) and risk frameworks
Proven success driving margin improvement and commercial strategy
Leadership experience building and developing high-performing teams
